dc.description.abstract1The subject of the article is o sud he rocess of imlemenaion of an effecive cororae overnance ssem in Ukraine, hich is of rea relevance aains he ackround of he rocess of Euroean ineraion and aracs increased aenion of scieniss and raciioners. The urose of he ork is o find ou he conen and essence of cororae overnance, o develo a heoreical and mehodoloical asis for he formaion of sandards of cororae overnance. In addiion, he facors ha can disinuish he definiions of "rincile", "code" and "sandard" of cororae overnance need clarificaion. The methodological basis of he sud as he mehods of dialecical coniion, comaraive analsis, a ssemaic aroach as alied in he analsis of cororae overnance sandards. The result of the article. The aricle clarifies he essence of cororae overnance and disinuishes o osiions o clarif he essence of he definiion. Under he firs of hese, cororae overnance is seen as an acivi of comanies and ssems of overnin odies and reflecs heir relaionshi ih shareholders and oher sakeholders. In he second erm, cororae overnance is he se of rules under hich oin-sock comanies oerae. Srucural elemens of cororae overnance sandards are oulined: cororae overnance uali crieria develoed he overnmen, various rain aencies; financial reorin sandards; reuiremens of sock echanes; codes and rinciles of cororae overnance. The asic inernaional documens on es racice of cororae overnance have een orked ou and a comaraive analsis of he cororae overnance codes of Ukraine and oher counries has een conduced on he asis of ke feaures, namel he cororae develomen comonen of comanies.
